Bashir Ayodele Ameen is the Secretary of the Board of Trustees. Ayodele Ameen is a human rights, democracy and development professional with over two decades of experience. He has worked for the London-based International Secretariat of Amnesty International for almost 8 years as a Campaigner in the Africa Programme. Before this, he worked with the West African civil society organisation Centre for Democracy & Development (CDD) for about 5 years. Ayodele Ameen holds a BSc degree in Banking and Finance from Ondo State University, two master degrees, Theory and practice of Human Rights from the University of Essex, Colchester, UK and International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos and a diploma in Advanced Course on the International Protection of Human Rights from the Institute for Human Rights, Abo Akademi University, Finland. Ayodele Ameen also has professional certifications in project management, data protection and cybersecurity.
Ayodele Ameen also serves as the Executive Director of the Management Committee of HURIDAC.
