David Shellnutt is a Human Rights, Cyclist/Community Lawyer & Advocate. David presently works at Biking Lawyer, a firm that represents injured cyclists, those with disabilities & survivors of violence.
David Shellnutt is also a Litigation Lawyer in Toronto, Ontario doing both contract work relating to claims before the Ontario Competition Bureau and a police racial profiling human rights complaint. He was previously, from 2009-2011, Coordinator for the West Africa Regional Action Network of Amnesty International Canada. David has experience of working in Freetown, Sierra Leone for a year, serving first as Consultant for Demand Dignity Campaign Coordinator of Amnesty International in Sierra Leone, and later as Legal Intern in the Appeals Chamber at the Special Court for Sierra Leone, in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He has also served for 2 years as Intern for Amnesty International in Monrovia, Liberia. David is part of the organisation fundraising team
