Job Description
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Demonstrate the ability to identify and plan environmental-related activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of environmental issues and writing of environmental focused
- Oversees mainstreaming environmental matters.
- Ability to engage positively with the government, donors, and other organizations with similar interests.
- Demonstrate ability for resource mobilisation in sustaining environmental projects and activities.
- Ability to manage programmes and projects
- Ability to work in a team and closely with all operational staff in Nigeria, Sierra Leone & The Gambia, coordinating programme information and data.
Technical Skills
- Should have sufficient knowledge on environmental assessment, monitoring, reporting, Policymaking, planning, and any other necessary environmental issues.
- Should possess’ project management skills and know-how to write project proposals.
- Should be conversant with writing reports and doing presentations and have good management skills.
- Should be a good community mobilizer and be able to facilitate sessions. Good public speaking skills are a big plus, too.
